Terry and Dr. Steven Wegner became clients of Estate Gardeners Inc. almost 2 years ago when they decided to build a new home. We had the pleasure of working with them from the initial design when there was nothing but the concrete foundation and big piles of dirt on their lot.

“Mike really listened to us and came up with a great plan. Now, in its second spring, our landscape is really taking shape. Estate Gardeners helped make our vision a reality.” say Steve and Terry.

The view from the second story of most of the Wegners’ living space was over their very narrow back yard, and the neighbors’ 3-car-garage doors and driveway. This layout left us with a strip as narrow as 30 feet to create a sense of privacy and separation from a sea of concrete.

Part of the solution was the selection of columnar trees that would screen without filling the entire area. What truly transformed the space however, was the installation of a water feature, positioned for viewing from the deck and main living area in the house.

Dr. Wegner’s dental practice, “Smiles of Omaha,” is outstanding. He won a Better Business Bureau Integrity award in 2003. He has also earned his Mastership from the Academy of General Dentistry and is one of three practicing Masters in Nebraska.
