Fall Fertilize your turf

Fertilization of turf in the fall can be the most beneficial application all season long….. In fact, if you are going to fertilize your lawn once a year, make it now. You will get an earlier green up and a thicker healthier lawn in the spring.

The only thing you really want to be pruning this time of year is perennial foliage that has died back with frost. Its not necessary, but it can help manage disease, and look tidy over the winter.
