The frost got the tomatoes but there are some crops, like butternut squash to still pick. Our tomatoes yeilded 90 quarts canned a bunch frozen and lots of BLTs and salads. We always feel smug having spaghetti in February made with our own home grown tomatoes. this year we grew Big Mama, Beefy Boy, and our all time favorite for quality and production, Celebrity. Pat thinks she harvested over 1000 tomatoes. That’s between 400 and 500 lbs.
